12-4. INTERGEAR LINK REPAIR (CONT).

Removal.
NOTE
Note location and position of intergear link prior to removal.
Do not move truck during replacement. If truck or wheels are moved, perform steering
system alignment procedure (Para 12-8).
(1)
Remove 12 locknuts (1), screws (2), washers (3) and two fender skirts (4) from fender (5). Discard
locknuts.
(2)
Open front access cover and remove nut (6),
lockwasher (7), screw (8) and intergear
link (9) from intermediate steering gear
arm (10). Discard lockwasher.
