6-40. POLARITY PROTECTION AND ALTERNATOR WIRE HARNESS REPLACEMENT
(200 AMP WITH BATTERY DISCONNECT SWITCH) (CONT).

Remove nut (3), lockwasher (4), wire
1281A (5) from stud (6) of battery
disconnect switch (7). Discard lockwasher.
(3)
Remove nut (8), lockwasher (9), wire 1274
(10) from stud (11) of battery disconnect
switch (7). Discard lockwasher.
(4)
Pull wire 1281A (5) and wire 1274 (10) out of
battery disconnect switch box (2).
(5)
Remove two locknuts (12), screws (13) and
cushion clips (14) from left fender (15).
Discard locknuts.
