Assembly.
Use care when installing springs. Springs are under tension and can act as projectiles when
released and could cause severe eye injury.
NOTE
All three valves are assembled the same way.
(1)
Install spool assembly (18) in valve body (7).
(2)
Apply hydraulic oil to preformed
packings (17).
(3)
Align matchmarks and install preformed
packings (17) and end cap (8) on valve
body (7) with four screws (16).
(4)
Apply hydraulic oil to backup rings (15) and
quad rings (14).
(5)
Install two backup rings (15) and quad
rings (14) on pinion (13).
(6)
Apply hydraulic oil to preformed
packing (12).
(7)
Install pinion (13), preformed packing (12)
and cap (11) in lever end cap (4).
