17-3. MAIN HYDRAULIC PUMP INPUT SHAFT SEAL REPLACEMENT (CONT).
a.
Removal.
Universal joint end caps may fall off upon performing Steps (1) through (3). Use caution
when removing. Failure to comply may result in damage to equipment.
(1)
Remove four screws (1) and two straps (2) from pump drive shaft (3) and end yoke (4).
(2)
Remove four screws (5) and lockwashers (6) from pump drive shaft (3) and engine (7). Discard
lockwashers.
(3)
Remove pump drive shaft (3) from end yoke (4) and engine (7).
