Remove oil seal (34) from front balance
cover (10). Discard oil seal.
NOTE
Perform Step (14) if dowels are
damaged.

Remove two dowels (35) from front
balance cover (10).
(15)
Remove three screws (36), lockwashers
(37) and vibration damper shaft (38) from
gear (39). Discard lockwashers.

Follow-On Maintenance:
Remove flex plate, (Para 20-26).
