20-29. ENGINE OIL PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE REMOVAL.
a.
Removal.
(1)
Remove two screws (1) and lockwashers (2)
from pressure relief valve (3) and oil
pump (4). Discard lockwashers.
(2)
Remove two screws (5) and lockwashers (6)
from pressure relief valve (3) and engine
block (7). Discard lockwashers.
(3)
Remove pressure relief valve (3) and
gaskets (8) and (9). Discard gaskets.
b.
Follow-On Maintenance:
Remove engine oil pump assembly, (Para 20-30).
