20-70. CRANKSHAFT PULLEY INSTALLATION (CONT).
(5)
Install screw (1) and retainer (2) in
crankshaft pulley (3) of crankshaft (4).
(6)
Tighten screw (1) 180 lb-ft (244 N.m).
(7)
Strike head of screw (1) with soft face
hammer and brass drift.
(8)
Tighten screw (1) 310 lb-ft (420 N.m) and
strike screw again.
(9)
Tighten screw (1) 310 lb-ft (420 N.m).
(10)
Install PTO adapter (6) on crankshaft pulley
(3) with five lockwashers (7) and screws (8).
Tighten screws to 35 lb-ft (47 N.m).

Follow-On Maintenance:
Install front cylinder block plate, (Para 20-71).
