installation to prevent possible
injury to personnel.

Remove two screws (71) and taper
dowels (72) from planetary differential
assembly (73).

Attach two lifting eyes and lifting device to
planetary differential assembly (73).

Using lifting device, position planetary
differential assembly (73) in differential
housing (59).

Remove lifting device and lifting eyes from
planetary differential assembly (73).
Adhesives, solvents, and sealing
compounds can burn easily, can
give off harmful vapors, and are
harmful to skin and clothing. To
avoid injury or death, keep away
from open fire and use in a well-
ventilated area. If adhesive,
solvent, or sealing compound
gets on skin or clothing, wash
immediately with soap and
water.

Coat threads of two screws (71) with sealing
compound.
(30)
Install two screws (71) and taper
dowels (72) in planetary differential
assembly (73). Tighten screws to 88 lb-ft
(119 N.m).
