TM 9-2320-364-34-4 25-6      25-3.  AXLE NO. 1, 2 AND 5 BRAKE DRUM REPLACEMENT (CONT). c. Installation. Brake drum weighs 132 lbs (60 kg).  Attach suitable lifting device prior to installation to prevent possible injury to personnel. (1) Attach lifting device to brake drum (2). Adhesives, solvents and sealing compounds can burn easily, can give off harmful vapors and are harmful to skin and clothing.  To avoid injury or death, keep away from open fire and use in a well- ventilated area.  If adhesive, solvent, or sealing compound gets on skin or clothing, wash immediately with soap and water. NOTE Ensure that fitting holes line up before securing brake drum in place. (2) With the aid of an assistant and using a lifting device, install brake drum (2) on hub (4). (3) Coat threads of two fittings (1) with sealing compound. (4) Install two fittings (1) in brake drum (2).
