(1) Remove cotter pin (1) and castle nut (2) from each tie rod end (3).  Discard cotter pin. NOTE Tie rod can only be installed one way.  Note position of tie rod ends before removal. (2) Remove tie rod ends (3) from steering swivel arms (4).
