25-13. AXLE NO 1, 2 AND 5 CONSTANT VELOCITY JOINT REPAIR (CONT).

Coat bearing (8) with a light coat of grease.

Install bearing (8) in axle housing (5).
Use care when installing retaining rings. Retaining rings are under tension and can act as
projectiles when released causing injury to personnel.
(10)
Install retaining ring (7) in axle housing (5).
(11)
Coat seal (6) with light coat of grease.
(12)
Install seal (6) in axle housing (5).
(13)
Install constant velocity joint (4) in axle housing (5).
(14)
Repeat Steps (2) through (13) for remaining joint.
