Measure bearing race (35) thickness and
record as dimension “B”.

Measure distance between top face of
opening in front housing (25) and bottom
face of opening in front housing (lip on
which adjusting shim (31) rests when
installed) and record as dimension “A”.

Subtract dimension “B” from dimension
“A” to get dimension “C” (C = A – B).
Dimension “C” is adjusting shim (31)
thickness.
