Remove thermostat (20) from bottom of left
thermostat cover (21).

Remove seal ring (22) from bottom of left
thermostat cover (21). Discard seal ring.

Remove plug (23) from bottom of left
thermostat cover (21).

Follow-On Maintenance:
Remove right side thermostat housing, (Para 20-28).
