Installation.
(1)
Position air bag (6) on drawbar (7).
Adhesives, solvents, and sealing
compounds can burn easily, can
give off harmful vapors and are
harmful to skin and clothing. To
avoid injury or death, keep away
from open fire and use in a well-
ventilated area. If adhesive,
solvent, or sealing compound
gets on skin or clothing, wash
immediately with soap and
water.
Use sealing compound sparingly
and only on threads. Do not
apply compound on hose
connections. Damage to
equipment may result.
(2)
Apply sealing compound to threads of
screws (8).
(3)
Install four lockwashers (9) and screws (8)
on turntable (10) drawbar (7) and air bag
(6).
Drawbar weighs 425 lbs (193 kg),
(850 lbs (386 kg) with drawbar
extension, if equipped). Attach
suitable lifting device prior to
installation to prevent possible
injury to personnel.
(4)
Using lifting device and aid of assistant raise
drawbar (7), remove jackstand and lower
drawbar to ground.
