2-12. FLATRACK STACKING AND LOADING ON PLS TRAILER (CONT).

Unloading.

Ensure flatracks are unloaded from trailer one at a time. MHC on truck is not capable of

handling more than one flatrack at a time. Failure to comply may result in severe injury or

death to personnel.

NOTE

Ensure air system on trailer is fully charged (TM 9-2320-364-10).

Ensure truck is positioned along side of trailer.

Remove three lifting straps (1) from flatrack stowage box (2).

NOTE

If there is more than one flatrack on trailer, Steps (2) through (4) are performed on top

flatrack only.

If there is more than one flatrack on trailer, perform Steps (2) through (4) and skip

Step (5). If there is only one flatrack on trailer, go on to Step (5).

Turn handle (10) on two locks (11) to UNLOCK position.

Remove pin (15) from lock (16).

(4)

Rotate lock (16) downward.
