TM 9-2320-364-20-3 2-2944 1.  TRUCK IS HARD TO STEER (CONT). 3. Replace damaged oil hose(s) and fitting(s) (Para 14-14 and schematic Fig 2-71). Verify repair, go to Step 7 of this Fault. YES NO Truck hard to steer at greater   than and less than 25 mph. Power steering oil level OK. Damaged power steering oil   hoses or fittings. 90 gear box faulty. Steering shafts faulty. Gear box steering shaft faulty. Axle No. 5 steering shaft faulty. KNOWN INFO POSSIBLE PROBLEMS TEST OPTIONS REASON FOR QUESTION Visual inspection. Damaged or leaking hoses will cause a decrease in steering oil pressure and flow rate.  This will cause hard steering. WARNING Are power steering hoses and fittings free from leaks or damage? Read   WARNING on Page 2-2945
