Installation.
Transfer case weighs 1,500 lbs
(681 kg). Attach suitable lifting
device before moving to prevent
possible injury or death to
personnel.

Install two transfer case adapter kit plates
to transfer case (1) with four socket head
screws (2).
(2)
Install holding fixture to engine
maintenance stand with four screws (3)
and washers (4).
(3)
Install two lifting eyes to transfer case (1).
(4)
Install lifting device to transfer case (1)
and two lifting eyes.
(5)
Align two transfer case adapter kit plates to
holding fixture and install four screws (5).
(6)
Remove lifting device and two lifting eyes
from transfer case (1).
