16. Open oil drain valve (24) and drain waste oil into bottle (25).
17. Close oil drain valve (24).
NOTE
The amount of oil recorded in Step 18 will be the same amount of oil that will need to be
added back into the AC system when charging.
Always comply with local, state, and federal regulations regarding oil disposal. Failure to
comply may result in penalties for improper disposal.
18. Remove bottle (25) from oil drain valve (24) and record amount of oil that drained into bottle.
19. Install bottle (25) on oil drain valve (24).
