Location Item No. Interval Item to Check/ Service Procedure Not Fully Mission Capable if: Fuel is very flammable and can explode easily.  To avoid serious injury or death, keep fuel away from open fire and keep fire extinguisher within easy reach when working with fuel.  Do not work on fuel system when engine is hot.  Fuel can be ignited by hot engine. 38 After Fuel Tank(s), Hoses and Fittings Check main fuel tank (1), auxiliary fuel tank (if equipped) (2), hoses (3) and fittings for leaks and cracks.  Check fuel strainer (4) for debris and damage. Class III leak is evident.  Cracks that will impair operation are present. 3 1 4 2
