TM 9-2320-364-10 3-6      Table 3-1.  Troubleshooting - CONT. Malfunction Test or Inspection Corrective Action ENGINE (CONT). 2. CRANKS BUT FAILS TO START. Step 1.    Check if three DDEC circuit breakers (1) have been tripped. Reset breakers and try again.  If breakers trip again, notify Unit Maintenance. Step 2.    Check fuel shut off valve behind wet tank in air dryer assembly to be sure it is open. If valve is closed, open it. Step 3.    Check indication on fuel gage (2). Step 4.    Visually check fuel level in main fuel tank (3) and auxiliary fuel tank, if equipped. If fuel tank(s) are empty, add fuel to tank (Para 2-13), turn on power switch and let electric fuel pump (clicking sound) run 20 minutes to prime fuel system. Step 5.    Check if electric fuel pump is working. Turn on power switch and listen for clicking sound at main fuel tank. If clicking, go to Step 6. If no clicking is heard, notify Unit Maintenance. Step 6.    Check air filter restriction indicator (4). If indicator shows 17 in. (4.2 kPa) or more, reset filter indicator button.  If indicator still shows 17 in. (4.2 kPa) or more, notify Unit  Maintenance. If condition persists, notify Unit Maintenance.
