TM 9-2320-364-20-2 2-884      8.  CODE 24:  OIL TEMPERATURE (HIGH LIMIT EXCEEDED). INITIAL SETUP 1. Go to Fault code 33 of ATEC Troubleshooting. START NO “CHECK TRANS” light with trans   temperature 270 degrees F or   above. Transmission will not go into   high gear. TRANS oil temperature gauge   reads high temperature. Transmission internal oil   temperature too hot. KNOWN INFO POSSIBLE PROBLEMS TEST OPTIONS REASON FOR QUESTION DDR test. If transmission oil temperature is not within specified limits as described in TM 9-2320-364-10 (Operations Under Unusual Conditions), shifts will be restricted, and CHECK TRANS and DO NOT SHIFT lights will be ON.  There will be no code. When temperature exceeds 270 degrees F, CHECK TRANS light will be ON and ATEC will register a code 24 fault. 2-15.  ATEC TROUBLESHOOTING (CONT).
