TM 9-2320-364-20-2
Truck must be on level ground and wheels must be chocked before parking brake is released.
Otherwise, truck may roll and cause injury to personnel.
Wear safety goggles when performing leakage tests on valves. Failure to do so may result in serious
eye injury due to high pressure air.
(1) Start engine and build pressure to
125 4 psi (861 28 kPa)
(TM 9-2320-364-10).
(2) Turn OFF ENGINE switch.
(3) Jack-up all Axles until wheels are off
ground.
(4) Shift transfer case to N (neutral)
(TM 9-2320-364-10).
(5) Release PARKING BRAKE.
(6) While assistant applies service
brakes, try to turn all wheels on Axle
No. 1 and No. 2 by hand.
(a) If one or both wheels turn, go to
Fault 14 of Brakes System
Troubleshooting.
(b) If no wheels turn, go to Step 2 of
this Fault.
(7) Release service brake.
