Wear safety goggles when performing leakage tests on valves. Failure to do so may result in serious eye
injury due to high pressure air.
(1) While assistant applies service
brakes, try to turn wheels on Axle
No. 3 (TM 9-2320-364-10).
(a) If one or both wheels turn, go to
Fault 10 of Brakes System
Troubleshooting.
(b) If no wheels turn, go to Step 3 of
this Fault.
(2) Release service brake.
OPERATION TEST
(1) While assistant applies service
brakes, try to turn all four wheels on
Axles No. 4 and No. 5
(TM 9-2320-364-10).
(a) If one or more wheels turn,
perform Step (2) below and
go to Fault 12 of Brakes System
Troubleshooting.
(b) If no wheels turn, brakes are OK.
(2) Release service brake.
(3) Lower wheels to ground.
