TM 9-2320-364-20-2
2-909
(1) Disconnect transmission connector
MC19 at transmission bulkhead
connector.
(2) Connect breakout harness
transmission end connector to
transmission bulkhead connector.
(3) Are 9 to 20 ohms measured between
solenoid input and output terminals
on the transmission bulkhead
connector through breakout harness
(Table 2-30)?
(a) If 9 to 20 ohms are not measured,
notify DS maintenance.
(b) If 9 to 20 ohms are measured,
solenoid wiring is OK.
(4) Is continuity measured between
solenoid output terminal on bulkhead
connector and a known good ground
(Table 2-30)?
(a) If there is continuity, notify DS
Maintenance.
(b) If there is no continuity, solenoid
wiring is OK. Go to Step 2 of this
Fault.
CONTINUITY TEST
Remove all jewelry such as rings, dog tags, bracelets, etc. If jewelry contacts positive electrical circuits, a
direct short may result in instant heating of tools, damage to equipment, and injury or death to personnel.
NOTE
Table 2-30 lists each solenoid tested by the following
procedures and the bulkhead terminals and wires used as
test points for each solenoid.
