TM 9-2320-364-20-2 2-936      1.  ENGINE FAILS TO CRANK. INITIAL SETUP 1. Replace faulty batteries (Para 7-88). Verify repair, go to Step 20 of this Fault. START YES NO 22 to 28 vdc register on 24 vdc   volt meter indicating wire 1055   between DUVAC and starter   motor is OK. Batteries faulty. ENGINE switch faulty. Wire 1021 faulty. Wire 1871 faulty. Diode M36 faulty. Wire 231 faulty. Wire 210A faulty. Wires 208/209 faulty. NEUTRAL relay R11 faulty. Wire 1281 faulty. Wire 1021A faulty. Wire 1435 faulty. Magnetic switch R27 faulty. Wire 1139 faulty. Wire 1045 faulty. Wire 1138 faulty. Start ground wire faulty. Starter motor solenoid faulty. Starter motor faulty. KNOWN INFO POSSIBLE PROBLEMS TEST OPTIONS REASON FOR QUESTION STE/ICE-R #73 and #75. Batteries may not have capacity to crank engine even though 12 and 24 vdc volt meters indicate correct voltage. 2-16.  ENGINE TROUBLESHOOTING (CONT).
