TM 9-2320-364-20-2 2-1732 Replace driveshafts (Para 10-2). Verify repair, go to Step 6 of this Fault. 1  DRIVESHAFTS OR UNIVERSAL JOINTS UNUSUALLY NOISY WHEN OPERATING (CONT). 4. Are driveshafts free from damage? YES NO Driveshafts lubricated. Lockstrap screws and bearing   cap screws OK. Universal joints OK. Driveshafts damaged. Slip yokes faulty. KNOWN INFO POSSIBLE PROBLEMS TEST OPTIONS REASON FOR QUESTION Visual inspection. Driveshafts may be unusually noisy during operation if damaged. 5. Are driveshafts slip yoke splines free of excessive wear, broken, damaged or missing teeth? Replace driveshafts (Para 10-2). Verify repair, go to Step 6 of this Fault. YES NO Driveshafts lubricated. Lockstrap screws and bearing   cap screws OK. Universal joints OK. Driveshafts OK. Slip yokes faulty. KNOWN INFO POSSIBLE PROBLEMS TEST OPTIONS REASON FOR QUESTION Visual inspection. Driveshafts may be unusually noisy during operation if yoke splines are excessively worn.
