(1) Remove six screws and tilt ECB
panel.
(2) Set WINCH/CRANE switch to CRANE
position.
(3) Is there continuity between
WINCH/CRANE switch, terminals 5
and 1?
(a) If there is no continuity,
replace WINCH/CRANE switch
(Para 17-20).
(b) If there is continuity, install ECB
side panel with six screws and go
to Step 18 of this Fault.
CONTINUITY TEST
Remove all jewelry such as rings, dog tags, bracelets, etc. If jewelry or tools contact positive electrical
circuits, a direct short may result. Damage to equipment, injury or death to personnel may occur.
