7-80. WATER TEMPERATURE SENDING UNIT/TEMPERATURE SWITCH
REPLACEMENT.
a.
Removal.
(1)
Remove nut (1), lockwasher (2), wire 1147 (3) and washer (4) from water temperature sending unit (5).
Discard lockwasher.
(2)
Remove water temperature sending unit (5) from engine block (6).
(3)
Disconnect MC128 connector (7).
(4)
Remove temperature switch (8) from reducer (9).
(5)
Remove reducer (9) from thermostat housing (10).
