7-103. 7-PIN ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR REPLACEMENT (CONT).
Adhesives, solvents and sealing
compounds can burn easily, can
give off harmful vapors, and are
harmful to skin. To avoid injury
or death, keep away from open
fire and use in well ventilated
area. If adhesives, solvent or
sealing compound gets on skin or
clothing, wash immediately with
soap and water.

Apply corrosion preventitive to front of
terminals (17).

Install wires 1435 (8), 1012 (9), 1003 (10),
1005 (11), 1004 (12) and 1008 (13)
on connector MC16 (3).
NOTE
Perform steps (12) through (18)
for model A connector.

Position rubber boot (2) on wire harness
(14).
(13)
Install wires 1435 (8), 1012 (9), 1003 (10),
1005 (11), 1004 (12) and 1008 (13) on
connector MC16 (3) with screws (7).

Install connector MC16 (3) on mounting
bracket (6) with two screws (5) and
locknuts (4).

Apply corrosion preventative compound to
front and rear terminals in connector MC16
(3).

Apply corrosion preventative compound to
front and rear terminals in connector MC16
(3).

Install rubber boot (2) on connector MC16
(3) with cable tie (1).
(18)
Apply a thin strip of adhesive to rear of
rubber boot (2) where wires enter boot.
