caps (10) from universal joint (8).
NOTE
Perform Step (8) only if check
valves stayed in bearing caps.

Remove four check valves (11) from
universal joint (8).
NOTE
Some universal joints may come
with more than one grease fitting.

Remove two grease fittings (12) from
universal joint (8).

Repeat Steps (1) through (9) for remaining
universal joint (8).

Matchmark slip yoke (5) and splined shaft

Remove slip yoke (5) and dust cap (14) from

Remove dust cap (14) from slip yoke (5).
