Install U-joint (17) on shaft (21) with
screw (19), locknut (18) and key (20).

Install steering column (11) on U-joint (17)
with screw (16) and locknut (15).

Position two pads (14) on brackets (10) and
install steering column (11) on brackets (12)
and (13) with two screws (9) and
locknuts (8). Tighten locknuts to 85 to 105
lb-ft (115 to 142 N.m).

Install wire 1435 (7) on bottom of dash (5)
with screw (6).
Adhesives, solvents, and sealing
compounds can burn easily, can
give off harmful vapors, and are
harmful to skin and clothing. To
avoid injury or death, keep away
from open fire and use in
well-ventilated area. If adhesive,
solvent, or sealing compound gets
on skin or clothing, wash
immediately with soap and water.

Apply corrosion preventive compound to
screw (6).
