17-25. ROOF COVER PLATE REPLACEMENT.
(2)
Remove cover plate (3) and gasket strips (4) from roof (5). Discard gasket strips.
b.
Installation.
(1)
Cut gasket strips (4) to lengths of two pieces each at 34 in. (86 cm) and 24 in. (61 cm) and one piece at
14 in. (35 cm).
(2)
Position gasket (4) on roof cover plate (3).
(3)
Position cover plate (3) on roof (5).
(4)
Punch 34 holes in gasket strips (4) using cover plate (3) as a template.
(5)
Install 34 sealing washers (2) and screws (1) in cover plate (3). Tighten screws 204 lb-in (23 N.m).

Follow-On Maintenance:
Remove wheels chocks, (TM 9-2320-364-10).
