Disassembly. (1) Position inter-steering shaft (1) on clean work surface. (2) Remove lube fitting (2) from cross and bearing assembly (3). Use care when removing retaining rings.  Retaining rings are under spring tension and can act as projectiles when released causing injury to personnel. (3) Remove four retaining rings (4) from cross and bearing assembly (3).
