Remove two screws (44) and
lockwashers (45) from transmission (21).
Discard lockwashers.

Remove 22 screws (46) and lockwashers (47)
from transmission (21). Discard
lockwashers.

Remove transmission (21) from engine (25)
and position on suitable support.

Remove two screws (32), lockwashers (33)
and lifting device from transmission (21).

Installation.
Transmission weighs 1,050 lbs
(477 kg). Attach suitable lifting
device prior to installation to
prevent possible injury to
personnel.

Attach lifting device to transmission (21)
with two screws (32) and lockwashers (33).
(2)
With the aid of an assistant, align
transmission (21) with engine (25) and
install two lockwashers (45) and screws (44)
in transmission. Tighten screws to 54 to 65
lb-ft (73 to 88 N.m).
(3)
Install 22 lockwashers (47) and screws (46)
in transmission (21). Tighten screws to 54
to 65 lb-ft (73 to 88 N.m).
