NOTE
Solenoid link spool must
engage into shift lever.
To aid in solenoid
installation, starter drive
should be positioned all the
way out of armature.
Solenoid should be installed
with mounting legs facing
away from field ring, then
rotated into mounting
position.

Install solenoid (14) on field ring (15) with
two screws (13).
Hold bottom nut while installing
top nut, or damage to equipment
may result.

Install jumper strap (11) on terminal
No. 3 (12) and field coil stud (9) with
nuts (10) and (8).

Install ground wire (3) on ground stud (7)
with lockwasher (6) and nut (5).
(53)
Install ground wire (3) on terminal No. 4 (4)
with lockwasher (2) and nut (1).
