16-3. BOOM ASSEMBLY REPAIR (CONT).
Adhesives, solvents, and sealing compounds can burn easily, can give off harmful vapors, and
are harmful to skin and clothing. To avoid injury or death, keep away from open fire and use
in a well-ventilated area. If adhesive, solvent, or sealing compound gets on skin or clothing,
wash immediately with soap and water.
NOTE
Ensure hole in pin is straight up
and down.
(3)
Coat pin (25) with anti-seize compound.
(4)
Install pin (25) in right lift cylinder (26).
(5)
Apply sealing compound to threads of
screw (21).
(6)
Install lock pin (24) and bushing (23) with
washer (22) and screw (21). Tighten screw
to 135 lb-ft (183 N.m).
(7)
Repeat Steps (3) through (6) for other lift
cylinder.
