TM 9-2320-364-34-3      16-61 Erection cylinder weights 78 lbs (35 kg).  Attach suitable lifting device prior to removal to prevent possible injury to personnel. (3) Attach lifting device around erection cylinder (6). (4) Remove two screws (7), washers (8), bushings (9) and lock pins (10) from boom base (11). One pin secures erection cylinder, tension cylinder, and mast.  Be careful to drive out pin only as far as needed to remove erection cylinder, or other components may fall, causing injury to personnel. (5) Drive pin (12) out far enough to free erection cylinder (6) from boom base (11). (6) Remove screw (13), washer (14), bushing (15) and lock pin (16) from pin (17) and turntable (18). (7) Drive out pin (17) and remove erection cylinder (6) from turntable (18).
