The crane hydraulic system operates at oil pressures up to 3,100 psi (21,375 kPa). Never
disconnect any hydraulic line or fitting without first dropping the pressure to zero. Failure
to comply may result in serious injury or death to personnel.
NOTE
Tag and mark hoses prior to removal.
Cap and plug hydraulic hoses and tubes after removal.

Position drain pan under hose (1).
(2)
Disconnect hose (1) and remove preformed packing (2) from elbow (3). Discard preformed packing.
(3)
Remove two screws (4), lockwashers (5), motor (6) and gasket (7) from hoist drum (8). Discard
lockwashers and gasket.
