Main cylinder weighs 325 lbs (148 kg). Attach suitable lifting device prior to removal to
prevent possible injury to personnel.

Attach lifting device to main cylinder (3).
Use care when installing retaining rings. Retaining rings are under tension and can act as
projectiles when released causing injury to personnel.
(8)
With the aid of an assistant, support main cylinder (3) using lifting device and remove retaining ring (4),
shim (5) and main cylinder pivot pin (6). Lower main cylinder out of middle frame (1).
(9)
Remove lifting device from main cylinder (3).
