Differential housing weighs 90 lbs (41 kg).  Attach suitable lifting device before removal to prevent possible injury to personnel. Use extreme care to ensure that machined surfaces of differential housing and front housing are not damaged.  To prevent damage, use two pry bars.  Apply same amount of pressure to both pry bars at same time. (65) Using lifting device, remove differential housing (59) from front housing (33). (66) Remove lifting device and lifting eyes from differential housing (59). HALF JACKSCREW HOLE 33 59 LIFTING DEVICE LIFTING EYE 33 59 0.53–13 x 0.75 IN. SCREW
