Remove screw (31) and nut lock plate (32)
from bearing cap (33).
Loosen screws so adjusting nut
may be loosened. If screws are
loosened too much, adjusting nut
may be forced sideways,
stripping threads of adjusting nut
and bearing cap.

Partially loosen two screws (34) so adjusting
nut (35) may be loosened.
(28)
Loosen adjusting nut (35) until it moves
easily.
NOTE
Bearing caps are part of a
matched assembly with housing
assembly.

Remove four screws (34), two bearing
caps (33) and adjusting nut (35) from
housing assembly (15).
NOTE
Perform Step (30) if locating pins
are damaged.

Remove four locating pins (36) from
housing assembly (15).
