Removal.
Brake drum weighs 125 lbs
(57 kg). Attach suitable lifting
device prior to removal to
prevent possible injury to
personnel.
(1)
Attach lifting device on brake drum (1).
(2)
Using lifting device and the aid of an
assistant remove brake drum (1) from
hub (2).
(3)
Remove lifting device from brake drum (1).
(4)
Remove six screws (3), washers (4), hub
cap (5) and gasket (6) from hub (2).
Discard gasket.
