Removal.
Brake chamber contains a spring that is under great pressure. Never work directly behind
brake chamber or attempt to disassemble brake chamber. Serious injury or death could
result to personnel.
NOTE
Both flatrack air chambers are removed the same way. Right side shown.
(1)
Remove cap (1) on cable (2) from threaded frame hole (3).
(2)
Install unlocking rod into opposite threaded frame hole (3) of flatrack air chamber (4) being replaced.
(3)
Turn unlocking rod clockwise until flatrack lock (5) is retracted.
