Rotate turntable (8) to left of center approximately 45 degrees and make a second mark where plumb bob

touches floor.

Rotate turntable (8) to right of center approximately 45 degrees and make a third mark where plumb bob

touches floor.

Remove plumb bob from Axle No. 1.

Using a mechanical divider, position

mechanical divider so arc of mechanical

divider intersects all three marks on floor.

Mark where point of compass touches floor.

This point is center of Axle No. 1.

Drop plumb bob (6) off center of both

spindle cover centers of Axle No. 2 (5) and

make a mark where plumb bob touches

floor.
