Section III. PRINCIPLES OF OPERATION
6-11. NORMAL OPERATION.
The flatrack is equipped with spring-loaded counterbalance mechanisms that allow the walls to be lowered by two
soldiers. Pin assemblies, located at the front and rear flatrack walls, provide a means to lower the walls. All
components are permanently attached to the flatrack with the exception of the sideboards, rear rollers, BII and cargo
tarp that the operator can remove or install. Refer to TM 9-2320-364-10 for PLS operating procedures.
