12-44. EMERGENCY GLADHAND BRACKET REPLACEMENT.
a.
Removal.
(1)
Remove locknut (1), cushion clip (2) and screw (3) from bracket (4). Discard locknut.
(2)
With the aid of an assistant, remove two locknuts (5), screws (6) and bracket (4) from rear
crossmember (7). Discard locknuts.
NOTE
Perform Step (3) if nameplate is damaged.
(3)
Remove two drive screws (8) and nameplate (9) from bracket (4). Discard drive screws.
