3-3. POWER TAKE-OFF (PTO) ADAPTER REPLACEMENT.
a.
Removal.
(1)
Remove five screws (1) and lockwashers (2) from PTO adapter (3). Discard lockwashers.
(2)
Remove PTO adapter (3) from crankshaft pulley (4).
b.
Installation. Install PTO adapter (3) on crankshaft pulley (4) with five lockwashers (2) and screws (1).
Tighten screws to 35 lb-ft (47 N.m).
c.
Follow-On Maintenance:
Connect main hydraulic driveshaft, (Para 20-2).
Install cab engine access panel, (Para 17-24).
Connect batteries, (Para 7-87).
Remove wheel chocks, (TM 9-2320-364-10).
