NOTE
Holes in brush holder must
line up with holes in ground
stud and jumper.
Left mounting leg of brush
holder is higher than right
mounting leg.
When properly installed, left
mounting leg will overlap
right mounting leg of next
brush holder.

Position right leg of brush holder (21) and
left leg of brush holder on each of four
mounting posts (40) and install with 12
washers (41), four washers (38),
lockwashers (37) and screws (36).
NOTE
Step (39) is performed
temporarily, in order to hold
ground jumper in place during
assembly.

Install brush mounting screw (22) through
tabs of ground stud (7), ground jumper (40)
and contact plate of brush holder (21).

Apply lubricating oil to preformed
packing (28).
(41)
Install preformed packing (28) on
commutator end housing (25).

Install washer (30) and thrust washer (29) on
armature shaft (31).
