23-9. CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY REPAIR.
a.
Removal.
(1)
Remove two screws (1) and oil baffle (2)
from front plate (3).
(2)
Remove eight screws (4), washers (5) and
front plate (3) from separator plate (6).
Control valve and separator
plate are removed as one
assembly. Removing separately
may cause damage to parts.
(3)
With the aid of an assistant, remove five
screws (7), screw (8), screw (9) control
valve (10) and separator plate (6) from
transmission (11).
