Installation.
(1)
Install thrust washer (1) in transmission
housing (2).
(2)
Install lifting bracket on center support
hub (3).
Center support is fitted to
transmission housing with very
little clearance and may bind if
transmission housing is cold.
Heat transmission housing with
heat lamp or heat gun if
necessary.
NOTE
Make sure tapped hole is aligned
with hole in transmission
housing.
(3)
Lower center support (4) in transmission
housing (2).
(4)
Position washer (5) and center support
anchor screw (6) in transmission housing (2)
and center support (4).
(5)
Remove lifting bracket from center support
hub (3).
